Entertainment. There are days when you’re just too tired to mom anymore, when the baby has been up teething all night and you need just ten minutes of peace and quiet. Why not play that timeless children’s favorite, Sesame Street? It is a great educational program that keeps your little one quiet and content while you freshen up and grab a cup of coffee. (Hopefully not the same one you tried to drink yesterday.) Amazon is offering free downloads of some of the show’s seasons for a limited time, so download away and go get that cup of coffee—you deserve it, Mom!
We love everything Honest Co and that’s why their freebie box is so high up on our list, but there is one catch. You get this freebie bundle by signing up for a trial, here. You will sign up for this monthly subscription, but you HAVE to remember to cancel or you will be charged monthly. Call (888) 862-8818 to cancel your membership once you’ve ordered your free trial. Once you are signed up, you pay the shipping fee of and receive either diapers and wipes or an essentials bundle (shampoo, lotion, household cleaner, soap).
Breastfeeding is a wonderful bonding experience for mom and baby. I certainly enjoyed every moment of this special relationship with my babies while it lasted. As a new mom, there were things I didn’t know I would need for breastfeeding. Those costs added up quickly. Thankfully, there are many companies that give out free stuff for moms. Here are a few of my favorites. Please note that you may still need to pay for shipping fees.
Surprise Package of Goodies. When you join Amazon Prime and create a Baby Registry, you’ll become eligible for a Welcome Box valued at $35. The only catch is that you must either buy a $10 item or wait for someone to purchase something off your registry before the Welcome Box will be shipped to you. Once that is done, click the Claim Now button to add the Welcome Box to your cart. The box changes monthly, so the contents are truly a surprise, but Amazon claims it contains items for both parents and baby.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I am pregnant with my second child, but signed up for almost all of these with my first! I am here to tell all of you, 90 % of these are completely FREE! That means NO SHIPPING! The only thing that stinks is it usually takes two months to get the freebies and by then you’ve forgotten about them, or worse you think the company has forgotten about you…until one day you receive a package full of wonderful baby items and then they just keep coming! Many of the formula brands will send multiple packages! I signed up with Enfamil and they sent a feeding package and a few weeks later they sent me THREE FULL SIZE BOTTLES of prenatal vitamins! I have never paid shipping for any of our freebies and am currently signing up for this pregnancy, because these companies DO care about expectant mothers, and THEY ARE AWESOME! Thank you again Savvy Bump for putting all of these promotions in one place so I am not scouring the internet trying to remember what sites we signed up on last time around. YOU ARE FABULOUS!
I read an article the other day that said it takes at least $277,000 to raise a child so there is no reason not to get an early start! Scoring free baby samples is just one way to prepare for a baby on a budget so make sure that you’re doing other things to prepare for your baby frugally.  You could start an investment account with Stash. When you use THIS link they will either give you $5.00 free or 1 year of Stash free. You could learn how to earn free gift cards online over HERE. Gift cards that you earn online are a fantastic way to save money on buying the baby gear you need.
Pampers Diapers and Huggies have a rewards program. They have unique one time use codes found inside the packages of diapers and some wipes. Save those and enter them on their websites (after making an account-when you sign up for pampers you will get 100 pts) When you have a certain amount of points, you can cash in for Free rewards. There are a ton of different items, and they change them too. When I reached 1,000 points I cashed out for a Dora Potty Seat for my youngest! Yay!
Free Breast Pump. In a world of two-income households, many breastfeeding mothers find themselves in need of expensive breast pumps when maternity leave is over. With decent pumps costing anywhere from $100 or more, mothers living on a budget often give up their breastfeeding relationship. Good news! The Affordable Care Act now requires insurance companies to cover lactation consultations and breast pump rentals without co-pays or deductibles. If you are a breastfeeding mother in need of a breast pump, please follow the linked guide to learn how to take advantage of this part of the Care Act.
Like with Honest Co and Dr. Seuss Book Club, to receive this freebie book you will have to sign up for a monthly subscription but cancel it within the next three weeks to prevent being charged. Call (888) 215-4327 to cancel. It is so worth it the hassle because good hardcover books are so difficult to find and babies absolutely love them. Here’s the link!

Baby Carrier. My baby carrier is my best friend. It has proved a wonderful resource on outings with my little ones, especially during those first few months. With it, I can travel without the hassle and bulk of a stroller. It also helped me keep my baby close to me and away from unwanted germs. Use the code ENBABY in the Seven Slings site  to avail of a free baby carrier.
Babies might be little angels most of the time, but they sure do know how to clear out your wallet. I was in disbelief each time I packed up a diaper bag for a day trip or a suitcase for travel how much babies really do need. Don’t worry you will eventually find the perfect method to grab all your things, pack up and head out the door. The thing that really gets me is how much it costs to buy all these new “things” that your baby apparently needs. It’s all tiny, so it should be cheaper right? Wrong! Here’s the positive twist though, there are actually so many options for free baby stuff out there for moms and you should not be afraid to take advantage of them. We have pulled together some of the best freebies for moms out there all right here.
