Did you enjoy this list? I hope you found it helpful! As a young mother on a budget, I learned quickly how much a dollar saved can mean. It’s a joy to pass on the knowledge and savings I’ve acquired over the years to other new moms. Share your thoughts in the comments—are there any savings you have come across not listed here? Any that you didn’t know about and were happy to see? Don’t forget to share the list with your friends and family!
Know what? Babies are expensive! If you’ve got a new tiny one, I’m more than sure I don’t have to tell you that though! From the time we get pregnant, we spend money that we sometimes don’t have on them and it only gets worse as they get older. By the time that they’re in college, we’ve spent hundreds of thousands of dollars. Luckily, you’re here and if you’re here that means you’re a frugal person who is trying to have a baby on a budget and you know that saving any kind of money is a great thing. That’s where these baby freebies come into play. Below you’ll find a huge amount of offers that will let you score at least $1,091 in FREE baby samples!
Gerber. One of the most trusted and well-known brands of baby food, Gerber offers a Nutrition Kit for new moms from participating hospitals. Simply check the list of hospitals to see if yours is on it, print out the coupon in the link, and bring it with you to present to the nurse after delivery. This kit comes complete with free formula samples, a breastfeeding blanket, and a wealth of coupons.
Hi I love your website! Wish I’d found it a lot sooner. One excellent resource I’ve been using is called Care Net. It’s a nationwide network of pregnancy/parenting centers. It’s a Christian organization but open to those of any religion and very non-judgmental/non-proselytizing. They’re COMPLETELY free with no catch. They’re a privately funded program so there’s no government involvement whatsoever. They offer free pregnancy tests, free ultrasounds, and parenting classes. The parenting classes are part of the Earn While You Learn program-you basically attend a class every week for an hour and earn points you redeem in their “mart” for whatever your baby needs. The MOPS group (mothers of preschoolers) is also a lot of fun and great way to meet other moms and let my little guy play with others his age. Thought I’d pass along the info.
Amazon is a close second to Target when it comes to my favorite things in life. Did you know you can register for your baby shower through Amazon too? If you have Amazon Prime just register and spend $10, then you get to pick out a free baby stuff welcome box to be sent to your doorstep. The items in the welcome box are typically valued around $35, so it’s a pretty great deal!

FREE 3 piece NCAA/NFL/NBA/MLB Team Gift Set ($32.95 value) – If you’re a sports fan, you’ll want to hop on this free baby sample! Head over HERE to Little Fans and you can score a FREE 3-piece NCAA/NFL/NBA or MLB team gift set! They have SO many teams to choose from that I’m positive there is something for everyone! Like with Honest Co and Dr. Seuss Book Club, to receive this freebie book you will have to sign up for a monthly subscription but cancel it within the next three weeks to prevent being charged. Call (888) 215-4327 to cancel. It is so worth it the hassle because good hardcover books are so difficult to find and babies absolutely love them. Here’s the link!
Nature’s One. This is a company committed to providing the best formula and foods for your baby well into her toddler years,. You can try their product for free through the link provided. While the PediaVance ships for free, other sample products do require a minimal shipping fee. If your little one is lactose intolerant, there is a sample product for you—Baby’s Only Organic LactoRelief.
Baby Art. It’s no secret that baby’s love to look at things. We’re also told again and again that looking at simple black and white pictures in their earliest days is helpful to their development. For the artistically challenged among us, that statement by our children’s doctors may be met with a wide-eyed, slightly horrified stare, but fear not! Baby Artsy has you covered with beautiful, free printable art for your baby to enjoy to her little heart’s content.

As your pregnancy progresses, make sure that you think about other ways to save money so you can have your baby on a budget. You’ll want to take a look at how to create a personal budget if you haven’t already. You’ll also want to decide whether you should use cloth diapers and if cloth diapers can save you money or not (hint: they won’t save every family money). You’ll also want to make sure that you don’t overbuy items for your baby since doing so can cause you major financial trouble. When you’re buying the items you need for your new baby, keep these 10 items you really need for baby in mind so that you don’t overspend. You also may want to check out these 30 things to stop buying and make since they will help you cut your household expenses significantly.
We love everything Honest Co and that’s why their freebie box is so high up on our list, but there is one catch. You get this freebie bundle by signing up for a trial, here. You will sign up for this monthly subscription, but you HAVE to remember to cancel or you will be charged monthly. Call (888) 862-8818 to cancel your membership once you’ve ordered your free trial. Once you are signed up, you pay the shipping fee of and receive either diapers and wipes or an essentials bundle (shampoo, lotion, household cleaner, soap).

Pampers Diapers and Huggies have a rewards program. They have unique one time use codes found inside the packages of diapers and some wipes. Save those and enter them on their websites (after making an account-when you sign up for pampers you will get 100 pts) When you have a certain amount of points, you can cash in for Free rewards. There are a ton of different items, and they change them too. When I reached 1,000 points I cashed out for a Dora Potty Seat for my youngest! Yay!
