This Saturday, September 8 is National Play Day and we’re celebrating by inviting you to play with the season’s hottest toys. Think Barbie’s Ultimate Kitchen, Thomas & Friends Super Station, Hatchimals Colleggtibles, Twisty Petz, Beyblade Burst, Lost Kitties, Ready 2 Robot, Cutie Paws Puppy Stroller and more. Everyone will get a free toy poster, plus there will be photo ops and fun stickers.

Car Seat. A car seat is probably the most important item to get before your baby is born. It also happens to be one of the most expensive. One of the best places to go for an affordable car seat is the Safe Kids Network. Follow the link provided and search for a local coalition. Many have reduced price or free car seats. The site can also refers you to a local community agency.
I read an article the other day that said it takes at least $277,000 to raise a child so there is no reason not to get an early start! Scoring free baby samples is just one way to prepare for a baby on a budget so make sure that you’re doing other things to prepare for your baby frugally.  You could start an investment account with Stash. When you use THIS link they will either give you $5.00 free or 1 year of Stash free. You could learn how to earn free gift cards online over HERE. Gift cards that you earn online are a fantastic way to save money on buying the baby gear you need.
Grove Collaborative is running a great promotion right now! If you sign up here, you’ll get a free $10 credit as well as a free Seventh Generation hand soap! Use your $10 credit to get a free baby item such as Seventh Generation baby wipes. Grove has the best brands and their customer service is excellent. Keep in mind that a $20 purchase will qualify you free shipping.
Target is my life. No for real, I do not think I could survive without my weekly trips there. You will probably be creating a baby registry here anyways, but if that was not in your plans you should highly consider it because when you sign up you qualify for a Baby Welcome Kit. It’s a box you will go pick up from your local Target full of samples and up to $50 worth of coupons. Moms say they’ve received everything from wipes to breast pads in theirs.
We love everything Honest Co and that’s why their freebie box is so high up on our list, but there is one catch. You get this freebie bundle by signing up for a trial, here. Once you are signed up, you pay the shipping fee of and receive either diapers and wipes or an essentials bundle (shampoo, lotion, household cleaner, soap).

Huggies. When you buy Huggies products, you’ll notice a code somewhere on the container. If you log onto their website and join their rewards program, you’ll be able to redeem that code for points towards coupons, diapers, and many other Huggies items. Registration for their Little Huggies program will also net you a free sample of their diapers, with one or two newborn sized diapers and a small pack of wipes.
Free Breast Pump. In a world of two-income households, many breastfeeding mothers find themselves in need of expensive breast pumps when maternity leave is over. With decent pumps costing anywhere from $100 or more, mothers living on a budget often give up their breastfeeding relationship. Good news! The Affordable Care Act now requires insurance companies to cover lactation consultations and breast pump rentals without co-pays or deductibles. If you are a breastfeeding mother in need of a breast pump, please follow the linked guide to learn how to take advantage of this part of the Care Act.
Books. Some of my most treasured childhood memories are of sitting on my mother’s lap while she read to me. It’s a tradition I kept alive with my own children. We lived about an hour from the nearest town with a library, so I was quite thankful to learn about Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. This amazing program will send your child a free book every month until he is five years old. Just check the site to see if your area is eligible. If not, check out this list of free Kindle books for little ones! Or just check it out anyways—books are awesome.

When you sign up for the Dr. Seuss & His Friends book club subscription, you will get 4 books for $4.99 and no shipping costs. It is definitely a steal. Dr. Seuss books are classic and I love my bedtime memories of reading them with my kids. Make sure to cancel the subscription, which is a piece of cake to do online to prevent this from becoming a recurring charge. Here’s the link to register.

Baby companies give out a ton of free baby samples but only if they know you're out there and have a baby. If there's a company that makes a baby product you'd like to try, you should visit their website and register your information with them. This way when the baby companies decide to send out free baby samples, they'll automatically send one out to you.
